What is the best way to attract a girl? Praise her first. Tell her that she is the most beautiful girl in this world, even if she is a mirror-cracking material. Often, mobile phone companies are adopting the same line when wooing the consumers. First they will praise you. Yahoo is now wooing the consumers with it’s ‘its you!’ campaign. Now, HTC, the Taiwan based mobile phone Company, also follows suite.
HTC is promoting its new Droid phone with a campaign featuring the tagline, “Quietly Brilliantly You’’ . The commercial at the centre of the campaign features users from the perspective of the HTC phone. You don’t need to get a phone. You need a phone that gets you. This is the message conveyed through the campaign.
