We often forget to notice the harsh realities around us. But somebody got to make us notice those realities, at least for some time. Pathfinders, one of the two teen homeless shelters in Milwaukee, is trying to draw our attention to the plight of homeless teens through an extensive guerilla advertising campaign.
Developed by Serve Marketing, the campaign tries to draw the attention of people to the sad state of homeless teens who are looking for a place to sleep. The fact is that there are only a scant 16 emergency shelter beds in the city that are available for teens. So the campaign placed billboards which consist of images of sleeping homeless teens on bus shelters and taxi cab toppers. when stickers of homeless teens began appearing on the streets in front of busy stores, movie theaters, coffee shops, restaurants, government buildings and even the Bradley Center. This effort attracted the attention of people and media.
